COS Community Garden

Our organization established a local community garden with help from the community we transformed an abandon small plot of land into a successful community garden. We Plant and grow tomato’s, jalapenos, raspberries, cucumbers, eggplants and onions yearly. We hand out those fruits and vegetables to our members within the community. Our community garden was recognized by the Pittsburgh Foundation in 2022, we were featured in their annual Wish Book and awarded a grant in support of our community garden
