More Info About the Map

Getting your garden — small or large — on the map enables us to better advocate for policies that support urban growing, and serves as an inspiration for other Pittsburghers who are just starting out. It’s a wonderful way to show just what a green thumb Pittsburgh really has!

This user-generated map has provided a way for gardeners to gain some visibility since it first launched in 2011. In 2016, we revamped the map to include photos for community and school gardens and urban farms.

The information in this map has been submitted directly by gardeners, so Grow Pittsburgh cannot vouch for its accuracy. If you encounter inaccurate information, please let us know by emailing info@growpittsburgh.org.
