We are pleased to announce that Pittsburgh City Council will be considering the changes to the Urban Agriculture Zoning Code on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 1:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. Chambers are located in the City County Building, at 414 Grant Street on the 5th floor. Come, give a comment and let the voice of urban agriculture be heard!

Please note – the code will not be voted on at this point, it is simply an opportunity for public comment. The vote will take place a week or two after that and when we have more information we will provide it. Assuming Council does vote in favor of the code, it will then be law. Here is the code in full detail as well as a simplified version. If you would like to comment at the hearing, please note you must register with the City Clerk.

Thanks as always for your support of these efforts.
