Grow Pittsburgh’s 2015 Annual Report is here!
In 2015, we taught 12 garden workshops to ever 190 participants. Over 1,100 students participated in cooking demonstrations as part of Chef in the Garden events in three school gardens. Community gardens connected to Grow Pittsburgh grew over 8,000 pounds of produce, some of which went to neighborhood food pantries. Our production sites at Braddock Farms, Shiloh Farm, and the Frick Greenhouse grew 11,227 pounds of produce representing 82 varieties of crops.
