Grow Pittsburgh is celebrating 10 years. That’s a decade of teaching people how to grow food and promoting the benefits gardens bring to our neighborhoods. We’ve launched Farm Stands, Apprenticeship programs and Edible Schoolyards in addition to helping communities start gardens all over Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.

Last year…

We held 14 skillshare and gardening workshops with 269 participants.

We grew 6.42 tons of food at Braddock Farms, Shiloh Farm and the Frick Greenhouse. That’s an increase of 9%, or over 1,000 pounds from 2013!

Growing space at new and existing community gardens expanded by 14,106 square feet.

….And these are just a few of the amazing stats from the year. Read the report for more!

Thank you to our partners, supporters, members, volunteers, and friends for everything you did in 2014 and the last decade – you all make this possible, and we couldn’t do it without you!
