Community Garden, also known as an allotment garden, where people rent or adopt individual beds to grow crops.
We DO NOT allot beds or growing space to individuals.
Everyone can join our project.
Mission Statement: The mission of Mama Africa’S Green Scouts is to provide African descent youth and families with the necessary skills to learn the importance of diverse greening sustainable customs. This garden started in 2008, however Mama Africa’s Green Scouts started management of it in 2011.

Project Partners: Mrs. Thresa Orlando, Landslide Community Farm, and The 4th River Free Skool
Our growing space operates 1-3 days a week with small work days and 1st a month for large work days.
Our produce is consumed by our volunteers.
There are other activities – such as Concerts and community meetings – that take place at our project.
We grow in 3 10×10 beds and 6 10×5 beds.
