Payne Chapel A.M.E. Church Garden

This garden is comprised of two main sections! Nearest to Priscilla Ave, three raised beds are filled with a collection of veggies and herbs, including lemon balm, basil, chive, parsley, dill, radish, carrot, onion, seed and sweet potato, tomato, pole beans, cucumber, peppers, and strawberry. Along the back fence of this property lies the second section of this collective garden site, which currently hosts a peach tree and numerous berry bushes. Both areas are meant to serve the community by way of nourishing local food access, ongoing garden-based learning opportunities, life-sustaining pollinator habitation, and generally fellowship through the welcomed stewardship of this property.
