Community Garden, also known as an allotment garden, where people rent or adopt individual beds to grow crops.

We allot beds or growing space to individuals for $10 annualy.

Residents of the garden neighbourhood and community can join our project.

Mission Statement: To build community and relationships around gardening activities such as planting and harvesting crops; learning how to maximize food production in small spaces; encouraging a love for gardening in school aged children in the community, and developing an orchard which will both beautify and benefit the community.

Established 2016

Our growing space operates from May to October.

Our produce is consumed by our volunteers.

We grow in 17 beds. Six beds are 3’x4′ and eleven are 4’x4′. In 2017, we added seedlings of 3 apple trees, 3 pear trees, 1 peach tree and 2 blueberry bushes in our starter orchard.
