How do you make a community garden space as accessible as possible?

At this workshop, we will consider:

• layout and design
• infrastructure and tools
• communication methods and technology
• cultural approaches to accessibility

We’ll look at case studies from garden groups who are putting serious effort into creating community garden spaces that are accessible for folks of all ages and abilities. We’ll also tour and enjoy the East Commons Community Garden at Allegheny Commons Park on the North Side.
