Applesauce Workshop (hot water bath canning)

Apples thrive in our region in the late summer and fall. Come learn how to preserve some of that delicious abundance by making and canning homemade applesauce. In this workshop, we will go over the process of preparing and cooking down apples into applesauce. We will also demonstrate how to use the water bath canning method to safely preserve your applesauce so that it can be stored in your pantry and enjoyed all year.
