Sarah Heinz House Learning Garden

The Learning Garden at the Sarah Heinz House Association is an intergenerational, hands-on learning space that brings youth, older adults, staff, and volunteers together to grow fresh food while building STEM skills and community connections. Serving as both an outdoor classroom and a food resource, the garden supports experiential education, healthy living, and shared stewardship. Through planting, harvesting, and programming, the garden strengthens food access, fosters multigenerational learning, and reflects Sarah Heinz House’s mission to empower individuals to lead healthy, purposeful lives.
