Garden Get Down

Join us on Tuesday, August 19, to celebrate the many ways that growing and sharing fresh local food is helping neighborhoods across our region.

The Garden Get Down brings together community members, educators, and gardeners for a fun-filled night of fresh local food, specialty drinks, and garden activities. This all-ages party is a great way to connect with neighbors, learn about Grow Pittsburgh’s work to increase fresh food access, or just enjoy a great meal and a night out with friends!

This year’s Garden Get Down is a special one, marking Grow Pittsburgh’s 20th anniversary! Join us to celebrate the people and partners who have been bringing garden education and fresh food to their communities from day one.  Plus, bring some seeds for the community seed swap, head over to the gardens of Millvale for a tour, or check out our veggie-themed photo booth!

Tell your friends, bring your family, and mark your calendars! This will be a night you don’t want to miss!

Garden Get Down is a fundraiser with sliding scale tickets. Please give as generously as you can. All proceeds benefit Grow Pittsburgh’s work to help teach people how to grow food and to promote the many benefits gardens bring to our neighborhoods.
