At both our Braddock and North Point Breeze locations, a team of Grow Pittsburgh farm managers, assistants, apprentices, youth, and volunteers farms through the season to supply fresh-grown produce to city residents.

Most of our produce is sold through farm stands in the neighborhoods where our farm stands are located. We sell additional produce through Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance, and directly to The Cafe at the Frick.

Farmstands

Grow Pittsburgh operates two independent farm stands:

Braddock Farm Stand
Intersection of Braddock Ave. and 6th St.
Saturdays, 10:00-2:00
June – Oct.

Shiloh Farm Stand
Intersection of Thomas Blvd. and Homewood Ave.

Thursdays, 3:00-6:00 (or until we sell out…follow us on social media to receive immediate notifications of early closures)
mid-June – mid-Oct.

All of our farm stands seek to serve the communities surrounding our farm sites. We accept Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program checks and EBT/SNAP payments and produce is priced affordably or on a sliding scale.

Penn’s Corner Alliance

Grow Pittsburgh is a farmer member of Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance, a farmer-run cooperative that sells locally grown produce in the city. Working with PCFA offers many benefits, including reaching a large number of restaurants and individual customers, delivering our produce to only one pick-up location, and partnering with rural Western PA farmers. If you are a restaurant interested in purchasing our produce, please contact Penn’s Corner for information on their deliveries at 412-363-1971.

Cafe at the Frick

At The Frick Pittsburgh, in Point Breeze, we grow food on site in a beautiful, historic glass greenhouse and kitchen garden.Chef Seth Bailey selects a portion of this produce to supply The Cafe at the Frick. Stop by to explore the greenhouse and gardens, then enjoy a tasty meal at the cafe!
