Education Improvement Organization
Grow Pittsburgh is recognized by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development as an Educational Improvement Organization. This designation allows companies to make contributions to Grow Pittsburgh’s School Garden Program through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.
A high percentage of an EITC donation may be used as a direct tax credit for state business taxes.
All EITC funds support Grow Pittsburgh’s School Program. The program currently supports 22 school gardens throughout Allegheny County.
