Did you know our production sites yield over 10,000 pounds of produce annually? Most of that produce is sold at farm stands to community residents or to local restaurants. We are always excited to get people involved in the task of building a stronger and more sustainable community.

For all jobs with Grow Pittsburgh, be sure to dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and wear closed-toe shoes. Bring water and sun protection.

Take a Tour with Grow Pittsburgh
Tour Grow Pittsburgh

Experience a working urban farm in full production, see the work happen, and learn the impact the work has on the communities of Braddock and/or Point Breeze and Homewood by taking a Production Site Tour!

Guests at any site will learn about our work and organic gardening techniques. Visitors will also learn how we use Grow Pittsburgh production sites to educate our Urban Farm Apprentices and Urban Farmers in Training.

Tours happen rain or shine, so come prepared. Dress in layers and wear appropriate footwear. In the case of extreme weather, you will be notified to reschedule. Guests are encouraged to bring a water bottle and sun block.

Please limit tour groups to 15 as our sites are not large enough to accommodate greater numbers. Tours must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. We can tailor a tour to any special interest your group may have.
