In its 4th year, the Swissvale Edible Garden Tour has become more than just a fun, free community event – it has also created a network of gardeners throughout Swissvale and the region who inspire each other and support new gardeners in growing food in our communities!

The Swissvale Edible Garden Tour is a project of the Swissvale Community Action Committee (SCAC), supporting the Swissvale Community Garden (located at the corner of Collingwood and Denniston Aves, across from Collingwood Playground). SCAC is entirely volunteer-run and is comprised of impassioned residents of the Borough of Swissvale. The mission of SCAC is to connect Swissvalians to create a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable community.
