Grow Pittsburgh Ceramics: Ollas
April 7 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm$25
Join us at the Bathhouse Ceramic Studio in the Braddock Carnegie Library to make your very own garden olla! What is an olla you ask? It’s an unglazed vessel used to irrigate your garden or household plants. Just place it in your garden bed and fill it with water. The water seeps through the walls of the vessel and reaches the roots of the plants.
In this two hour workshop, you will learn how to use the coil-building method to hand-build your own olla using red earthenware clay. No prior experience is necessary. $25/$15 for GP members.
