Free Soil Lead Screening
April 24 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Bring your soil to the Garden Resource Center to have it tested for lead and arsenic with Allegheny County Conservation District. These two contaminants are common in urban soil, and are bad for health, so it’s always good to check the soil in your yard and garden areas to be safe.
To promote safe social distancing, registration is required. Please register here.
After you register, we will contact you with detailed instructions on how to prepare, label, and drop off your soil samples. Results will be sent to you within two weeks, along with information to help you understand and act on your results.
