Allegheny Cleanways and the Urban EcoStewards program are excited to provide a Saturday morning workshop to learn how the Stanton Heights community is fighting back against persistent dumping with a compost pile and native plants. In the process, they are revitalizing a green space and strengthening stewardship of their community.

The workshop is Saturday, June 28 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. near 4400 Stanton Avenue, 15201. Pre-register here. Wear sturdy, close-toed shoes if you want to participate in light volunteer work after the discussion. A reusable water bottle is recommended. Gloves and tools provided.
