Grow Pittsburgh has employment opportunities, opportunities for interns, has an apprentice program and is run by a talented staff of employees. Why are these important opportunities? Knowledge is power and we know that garden information is shared person to person, one generation to the next. Join our team.
Learn about the inner workers of a production farm in an urban environment including growing seeds and produce, maintaining the sites, harvesting food for sale and selling that product in both a community and restaurant setting.
Grow Pittsburgh’s Summer Intern Program provides local teens with the opportunity to gain summer employment while learning about the value of growing and eating healthy food.
There are no consulting opportunities with Grow Pittsburgh at this time.
Come volunteer with us! We depend on our volunteers and can always use a hand on the farm mulching and weeding, in the greenhouse watering seedlings, at a community garden building beds and sheds, with our School Gardens team in the garden classroom and even in the office with mailings!
Please see our Volunteer page to complete the volunteer form and for the details.
