Grow Pittsburgh’s 2016 Annual Report is here!
In 2016, we taught 19 garden workshops to 214 participants. We constructed five new Learning Gardens at Pittsburgh Public Schools, extending access to school gardens to 6,039 students. Our production sites at Braddock Farms, Shiloh Farm, and the Frick Greenhouse grew 19,740 pounds of produce and donated 3,000 pounds to the Braddock Free Store, 412 Food Rescue and the Greater Pittsburgh Area Community Food Bank.
