GREEN MILLENIUM CHILDREN'S GARDEN

Laura Winter, certified teacher and Master Gardener, has been coordinating children's gardens in inner-city Pittsburgh for the past 12 years.  The Green Millennium Children's Garden (GMCG) is located in the Mexican War Streets neighborhood in the Northside.  At GMCG, through garden- related educational activities, inner-city children learn how to grow food and community, an ongoing challenge in urban areas.  All ages are welcome.  Come visit us any time!  We welcome volunteers of all ages.  No gardening skills required!

The garden is located at 1313 Sherman Avenue and is open 6:30-8:00 pm every Wed., May - Oct.
